↓That’s true. Try using a Shocker that is wound 3 turns around your reel spool. I fish with gloves to avoid those nasty braid cuts and also use a 50lb shocker. I change it after every two sessions or after one session if I am lucky enough to get into a good bite. Just my ,02. good Luck, Sir
↓Good tip. Too many times having a plug fly off on the first cast because of being too lazy to take the 10 seconds it takes to put the slack in the line when transporting/storing the rods.
