Posted by: | CommentsI want to thank all of you who stopped by Surfcaster’s Journal booth last two days. Tommy will be there solo today while I work on getting the new moldings up in the air. We appreciate immensely your support and kind words about the the magazine. And I am sure these same feelings are shared by our editors Marie and Roger. As you know, and can probably guess, the only reason the quality of this magazine shocked so many people is because we had fun doing it. The passion for the sport and creating something memorable was the driver. If we’ve done this for financial reason, it would probably be quick, paste- text-picture deal, because time spent on it would be important.
The reason I mention this is many of you came by and scratched you heads and tried to figure out just what our business model is. And why is magazine free.
We have none
Our business model is our commitment to keep this magazine free and give you the best stories you’ve ever read, on internet or in print….always. We leave the number-crunching and revenue counting to others. Buy our hat and we are as happy as a clam as we got coffee money
