Show season…
Posted by: | CommentsFinally the I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. The whole house has been repainted, now waiting for the floors to be sanded and putting back the the mounding. Sometimes I forget I’ve been here for 17 years. Of course I am a typical man, if its not broken, don’t fix it.

C’mon spring
Posted by: | CommentsDay 30 of being consecutively sick and no better news on the horizon. After awhile, you accept it for what it is and move on, start doing things that you normally do regardless. Like painting till midnight.
I don’t think I’ve ever had a month like this in my life. Back to back colds, yes, but this was back to back to back to back. It sure makes me wish that spring would hurry up.

People we meet…
Posted by: | CommentsOne of the things that fascinates me the most about this sport of surfcasting is background of the people that I meet on the beach.
Yes, all fishing is represented by very diverse groups of people but for some reason surfcasters seem more passionate about their sport then most other groups. Maybe I am only saying that because I am a surfcaster.
I’ve meet doctor, lawyers, executives, plumbers, butchers, you name it. Very few if any cared to share or let you know what they do for living. Once they enter into the surf they become just one of the boys. Wave will slam equally hard into a carpenter as it will into a Wall Street hot shot. Read More→
