    Hey Z,

I think I have 5 of those but not sure. I have my 3 rods, a supercutter, a nine footer lami 1093m blank if I remember right ( probably not ), and a jetty rod that we used for breezy and the south shore jetty’s. I have my Dads rods also. Not sure if they are the same rods, but the time line is right as I am 52 years young now. Matched with our crack 300′s and squidders for the jetty’s. Still use the squidders, but the crack needs repair and I can’t cast it all night long anymore. Brings back memories. Still use the 9 footers with Penn 704 and 706 squealing line roller. Damn I hate that sound. Enjoy your show.

Let’s see…my first S-Glass was an 11′ surf rod that snapped in half while fishing in thew middle of a weakfish blitz under the Light in Montauk. (Remember when weakfish used to show up under the light anyone?) Made a really nice jetty gaff that I left behind before light one morning at Moriches Inlet (some lucky dawg probably still uses it)…my second was a 9′ that I cut down to make a fluke rod. Still going, and the 3rd is 10′ surf stick that collects dust and has been my loaner rod to friends when they need a stick. Sure was glad graphite came on the scene!
