Yo-Zuri Minnow and Sashimi giveaway
Posted by: | CommentsWe recently wrote in the Surfcaster’s Journal Magazine about Yo-Zuri Sashimi lures. But while testing those we discovered something else. They sent us few Edge Minnows to try and at first we were put off by their weight. After all, we only use manly lures, ones that weigh in multiple, manly ounces…rah-rah-rah….but then strange thing happened.
The first time we cast the 13/16 ounce sinking minnow we noticed two things. First, with our 7 and 9 foot rod it cast like a dream and then some but then it proceeded to sink like a stone which was very effective in the small but fast inlet rip we did our testing. We were very impressed with all the Edge Minnows. The reflective sides gave out a lot of light and flat bottom gave them a hell of an action with minimal rod movement.
Since is our policy to share with you ,our readers, the stuff that is sent to us, here is the giveaway and you know the rules, just say that you are in
We will pick a winner later in the week that will win all these lures…for more info on theses lures please visit www.yo-zuri.com or your local tackle shop
1/2 ounce Edge Sinking Vibe Minnow
3/8 ounce Sashimi floating Jerk bait
13/16 ounce Edge Sinking Minnow Trembler
5/8 ounce Sashimi floating Pencil
in case you are wondering about the action of Edge Trembler Minnow here is what some others had to say
“The variable action of the Trembler makes it a versatile lure. The back, side and tail flash independently. A regular retrieve makes it look like a school of baitfish due to the flashing effect and S-shaped swimming action. With a dead slow retrieve, it acts like a wounded minnow. By twitching the Trembler, you can make it imitate a panicked fingerling.”
I got to say, from all the small plastic lures I tried this year, this one I was most impressed by.
