The mighty bunker…
Posted by: | Comments Those of you who have access to a boat and are not taking advantage of what has happened last few weeks along south shore on Long Island I have one thing to ask…are you nuts?
For years, we have been whining about all the big bass on bunker bypassing Long Island waters when they finally move out of the New Jersey. This year for the change the big bass are sitting on these schools of bunker for weeks now
Granted, they are not hitting the beaches but you never know. Those that were on the beach when they did on occasion caught probably their biggest fish of the year. You never know when they might hit the beach. If anything, its nice to know that they are not afraid on sky-high Long Island property taxes and are hanging out for awhile.
